Why You Should Exfoliate Your Bum. Seriously.
Scrubs are essential to a total body beauty routine. Our skin naturally produces new cells daily, all while shedding older, superficial ones. But when dead skin cells start to build up, your skin begins to look dull and rough. By using a scrub, you help support the natural removal of dead skin, thus revealing the newer, younger skin underneath.
What most people don’t realize is to have a soft, smooth, polished bum, your skin needs the same treatment. Future Method is here to fill the hole in your skincare ritual, because everyone deserves the confidence of looking and feeling fresh-inside and out.
Our behinds, quite literally, go through a lot of wear and tear-sometimes that is a pleasurable experience! But sometimes it’s not. It’s a sensitive area that can get irritated from over-wiping (one of many reasons why I’m pro-bidets), moisture accumulation during daily activities and exercise, and, of course, bottoming. These factors alone, or combined, can have negative consequences (such as acne) on this delicate region of the body.
That’s why I wanted to develop a gentle yet effective scrub truly formulated to go between your cheeks.I found that scrubs made for the rest of your body were too abrasive and irritating for the derriere’s delicate skin, and that scrubs for the face were too fine, often dissolving before they could deliver results. We spent a lot of time in the lab with experts, testing different formulations to find the perfect combination of exfoliators, skin softeners, and antioxidant-rich ingredients.
And how could I forget the scent? With notes of citrus, clove and cedar-it’s so desirable.
Our Butt & Body Scrub was specifically designed to be gentle enough for use before and after any form of pleasure, as well as any time you shower for the long term benefits daily exfoliation provides. While I strongly advocate for silicone-based lubricants whenever participating in backdoor fun, a lot of people push back because it’s a pain in the butt (no pun intended) to remove from your body afterwards. That’s one of the other main inspirations for our scrub: it not only rids you of any excrement or dead skin, but it also removes any lingering bodily fluids and lube post-play. Now, the only thing you’re left with is an instantly brighter, happier behind.
That’s why I wanted to develop a gentle yet effective scrub truly formulated to go between your cheeks.
Future Method focuses on the proper methodology of the behind and developing products that not only improve its function, but also its appeal. So it was only natural for us to add a scrub to your daily cleansing routine, as well as your pre- and post-play rituals.
We are incredibly proud of our new product and look forward to it leaving you smelling fresh and ready for whatever (and whoever) comes your way.
